“Applying Personal Resilience To A Global Perspective Through Reflection and Reimagining: An Experiential Exercise.”

Resilience is the ability to recover from setbacks, adapt well to change, and keep going in the face of adversity. It is sometimes called durability, adaptability, or grit and represents critical skills in an uncertain environment. Numerous global forums underscore the importance of building resilient capabilities to address the threat of climate change and corollary changes detrimental to society. Understanding personal and organizational resilience takes experience paired with reflection. This exercise is designed to create deeper understanding of the key elements of resilience: persistence, adaptation, and transformation from personal and global perspectives.
