Zeal: Adapting, Coping and Willfulness
Zeal is the requisite ability to lead change and prosper. It embodies three synergetic abilities: the will to prosper, adapt to external conditions and cope with the change driven internal dynamics. Will determines the drive and the commitment to achieve the overarching worthy purposes. Adapting is to understand and make necessary adjustments to address requisite external conditions. Coping is the internal processes that help maintain a sense of well-being and wholeness in time of change. Facing disruptions and change, the zealous willfully strives to understand the impelling circumstances, the need for change, adapt externally to assure relevance and cope internally to maintain a sense of well-being and harmony. In this article we explore requisite determinants of the zealous social systems’ effectiveness, and success in changing complex environments.
